A Felony Settlement Conference is simply a meeting with the DA and Defense Attorney to resolve your case. There will be an Appearance in front of the Judge whereby a Plea Bargain will be presented, or new dates set: namely, a Preliminary Hearing, another Settlement Conference, or Trial.

If you have properly described it, just what it says. A hearing allowing you a chance to try to reach a plea bargain with the DA. And judge. Your attorney should have explained that.
