A Felony Settlement Conference is simply a meeting with the DA and Defense Attorney to resolve your case. There will be an Appearance in front of the Judge whereby a Plea Bargain will be presented, or new dates set: namely, a Preliminary Hearing, another Settlement Conference, or Trial.

If you have properly described it, just what it says. A hearing allowing you a chance to try to reach a plea bargain with the DA. And judge. Your attorney should have explained that. If you do not have an attorney, you are not taking seriously the potential for prison time upon conviction of a felony. If you get serious about hiring an attorney, feel free to contact me.
