Question

How can I defend myself against a company accusing me of theft?

I need an attorney to handle a case against a company for accusing me of theft and it is not true. I would like to file charges against the company. They also do discrimination more than the employees realize and companies like this have no business in being in business. I am not sure of what kind of attorney that I'm even looking for but need one bad that will work on a continuous basis from the start of the case. I have documents supporting the items that they said I stole.

You would need an attorney that handles civil cases. Defamation and discrimination may be possible causes of action.

For the theft accusation you need a criminal attorney. You really cannot sue the company until you are found not guilty of the theft.

If you're being accused of a criminal theft, you need a criminal defense attorney to represent you and clear your name. If this is a wrongful termination case, you'll need an employment (labor law) lawyer. In either situation, you'll need to discuss the situation in much greater detail face to face during a consultation with your attorney.

If you are being prosecuted for theft you clearly need a criminal defense lawyer. If you want to sue them for discrimination you will need an employment discrimination attorney. If you are in the Bay Area get in touch and I will direct you to an employment attorney.
