Question
Can we ensure that charges are filed?
While at work, my boyfriend was assaulted. The police came and took statements on two separate occasions and they all said that they knew the guy who committed the assault. Yet, the police report says no charges were filed, that no statements were taken, and that they could not located the perpetrator. Now work wants to know why no statements were given and are becoming upset with my boyfriend. What can we do to ensure that this situation is taken care of in a just manner?LawQA.com Answer Library
