Question
Can I get in trouble for giving a ride to someone involved with a crime?
I was driving in the parking lot of a local shopping mall and there was a very hysterical woman who was crying and running. She said that she needed help getting away from her husband who was trying to hurt her. I helped her and let her into my car and drove her a few blocks until she asked to be let out. Then I found out the next day that a store clerk witnessed her take an expensive item from the store. Can I be prosecuted as part of this crime?LawQA.com Answer Library
